Measurables coaches ask for
minimums to be marketable- On a varsity high school rosterCoaches won't look at JV or club-only players for college rosters.
- 3.2 GPA or higher, unweightedPassing NCAA core courses. Academic money is where most families close the gap, and coaches ask about grades before velocity.
- Current game videoThis season or last, a few minutes of real at-bats, innings, or defensive reps. Not a highlight reel of one swing.
- Current, verified numbersMeasured in the last 12 months — showcase results, Perfect Game / PBR data, or a reading Dan can stand behind when he emails a coach.
